Chief Researcher

Fumiyoshi UENO is a researcher of Research Group for Materials and Radioactive, and Concurrent researcher of Research group for Nuclear Resistant Materials at Japan Atomic Energy Agency. He joined Power Reactor and Nuclear Fuel Development Corporation as a researcher in 1987, and he has been a researcher of Japan Atomic Energy Agency since 2005. His main research themes are high temperature strength degradation of stainless steel, structural analysis of high temperature sodium compounds, and corrosion research related to decommissioning of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. He is a member of the Atomic Energy Society of Japan, the Japan Society of Corrosion Engineering, the Japan Society of Material Science and Technology, and the Japan Society of Maintenology.
